We could hear the thump from the temporary stages set up the week before the Super Bowl, and from our building today you can see the hoopla starting to form a couple blocks away for Monday’s college football national championship.
And that’s exactly the way we want it.
We are right in the heart of Phoenix. Whether you call it Copper Square or the Warehouse District – or “the Championship Campus” like they call it this week – Moses is a Hail Mary from the Suns arena and a few TD drives from the D-backs stadium.
So many things are happening here now, from light rail to CityScape to places like The Duce. It’s nice to see, of course, since we’ve been here on Jackson St. since 2001. Before that we were at Central and Van Buren, making this our 34th year in downtown Phoenix.
We’re still asked about opening an office in LA or Seattle or New York. We always could – but no matter what happens, our home is Phoenix. So come on down and hit the Playoff Fan Central at the convention center, or catch the Band Perry or Walk the Moon or John Mellencamp on the big stage set up across from the Suns arena.
About 300,000-500,000 people are expected here by Sunday night. We’ll be here too, soaking up some of the action. So Roll Tide or do the Dabo – and welcome to downtown.
– Team Moses
